Biography
Dr. Skelton obtained his B.S. from Auburn U (Alabama) in 1971. He served as a submarine officer during the years of 1971-1976 before receiving his Ph.D. from Caltech in 1985. He then worked in industry and at JPL before joining CASS in 1994.
Research Interests
Development of Cadmium Zinc Telluride solid-state detectors for X-rays and gamma rays, and on ASICs to read out their signals.
